IF that does not exist you only have one option and that is to build it inside FGU - ignore the walls poking out over the side, take a screenshot of your building, take it to Photoshop or GIMP and cut it out, trimming away the unwanted wall - then re-import it as an Image as a trimmed building template. However, it does not look like there is an easy-fix at this time with the current software tools - what you require inside the map-maker is some kind of auto-fill that fills the selected shape and respects the boundaries set for it. Hello DerSavage - I make maps, assets etc and there is one sure way to fix your issue. How to add another layer that is top of the anything else expect walls and background grass. Everytime I try this, floor is outside of the walls. So is there a way to 'fill inside of the (freeform) building with floor tiles'. If I use grids I can make nice floor to building, but the problem rises when I try to make freeform walls for building and I want to add floor to this building. I know how to add grass layer or other tiles and paint (brush or tiles) over the grass. After the map is ready I usually delete this layer. I'm using background map/image layout and I create maps over it. Hopefully here are some more experienced users that can share their knowledge. I have watched hours of tutorial videos, but I couldn't find answer to my problem in map making. I've been using Fantasy Grounds Unity ultimate just over a week.
